Printing to the VCC

1.
Map network drive by right clicking on Network Neighborhood,
Either
\\sambasrv\youruserid
or
2.
Add the following printers
Wizard
comes up:
vcplt (HP design jet 1055CM) large format, continuous tone color plotter
printer
vcpltg (Glossy- can use the same driver - (HP design jet 1055CM)) higher end,
large format, continuous tone printer on thick glossy stock
vcplt600 (phaser 600 drivers are in Widows 98 and possibly
other systems drivers) high contrast printer with waxy feel (not good for most photographic
printing)
vcph3let (Phaser 850) smaller format, continuous printer, have
a resolution of 600dpi and produce output of excellent quality.

Type in network pathway
vcplt

Install another printer using the same driver (vcpltg) for glossy plotter, then
for all the printers you want.

In Photoshop now you should see the various printers when you click on page set
up. Your image should be in png or jpeg format. Make a note of your image
dimensions and resolution. Select your printer.

Paper sizes – click on display size, custom size- indicate size wanted, click
below in custom, print

Paper source – auto

Call 8181 to check if the image has come across to the plotter, and how long it
will be in the queue

Pick up prints in the VCC (right side in the wooden bins or slots depending on
your paper size) Check these areas within 24 hours as many times prints are
discarded after a certain time.
