Artist Statement

The space where art is exhibited has been changing throughout the years to what has become the gallery. It is customary that a gallery space is a simple space with white walls so that it does not compete or over power the art piece itself. What we intend to do is to try to experience the art in a different way other than starring at a painting ten feet away from it. We intend that the viewer experience it as if he or she were part of it. There will be no limitations on how you experience the piece of art and will give an insight on what could become the new gallery space in which a virtual space will be needed to experience it.

Diane worked on the normal gallery space and the world of “Broadway Boogie-Woogie” by Mondrian. Jose worked on the world of “Composition in Red, Yellow and Blue and “The Dream” by Henri Rousseau.
