April 2001 The Virtual Band presents a customizable ensemble of instruments to the user and allows them to perform the instruments in a variety of environments. The world is created by the user, allowing them to choose which instruments they want to appear in the world and how they will be played. It is up to the user to create the sounds they desire, experimenting with the music just as a real musician would on stage. People are effected by music in countless different ways. Music impacts everyone, from the casual listener to the extreme collector. This project is designed to give everyone, regardless of musical ability, the chance to perform as a band.
