Final Project

Artist Statement

My final project will be a three-dimensional structure resembling an old NYC church that was converted into a nightclub. It will consist of rooms (some password protected), hallways, doors, stairways, benches, bars, cages, fish tanks, catwalks and crevasses. There will be sounds and lights eliminating and amplifying the geometry as well.

The majority of development will be done in vrml (virtual reality markup language) with the help of Cosmo Worlds 2.0. However, I will be using such programs as Photoshop, Sound Forge, Pagemill, Dreamweaver and Internet explorer. Upon completion my project will be published to the Internet where it will be available for interaction.

The main concept behind this project is to explorer the exciting vrml technology, as well as to exploit the interior design of the world renound Lime Light nightclub. Finally, I am also aiming to wow my audience with bizarre interactive objects.
