Bloodlines

Bloodlines began from humble origins as a scenario for a forum-based roleplaying game, hosted at NoMoreBlue.net. The primary scenario for the roleplay took the popular concept of "Vampires and Werewolves" and threw the players into the middle of a centuries-old war between the two. Each player could choose to control a member of one of three factions: the Clan von Blutzahn, Los Colmillos Negros, or the militia of the local town.

After investing so much time in the development of the scenario, I took my final project as a perfect chance to take it to another level, by creating a simple animated title sequence for it. The project itself is an expansion of the super hero flash project, though I decided to go with a much grayer definition of "hero." This was partially to demonstrate that, like the combatants in Bloodlines, where none of the sides is truly chivalrous by any right, more concerned with their own wellfare than that of the nation as a whole, the difference between hero and villain is often that of which side you are on. Likewise, the heroes you look up to may not be all they are cracked up to be.
