  • Mod Database - A very large database of mods for many different game engines.
  • Dark Harvest - Another UT2004 mod under development here at RPI. DH has a somewhat more traditional team vs. team competition focus, but they've got some interesting twists to encourage cooperation and teamwork and a real-time-strategy-style resource/building/research mechanic to spice things up.
  • Red Orchestra - A very popular, well-made WW2 eastern front mod for UT2004. While RO doesn't break much new ground conceptually speaking, it does what it does (i.e. recreates an immersive WW2 combat environment) very well.
  • Air Buccaneers - This clever UT mod pits players against eachother in the role of air pirates piloting primitive zepplins armed with cannons. Because both piloting and manning a cannon are demanding tasks, teamwork is vital to success as a solo pilot will not perform very efficiently. A very original, engaging repurposing of the UT engine.
  • Alien Swarm - An in-progress mod that is vaguely reminiscent of the old Contra games. It's a top-down shooter; the player controls a small squad of humans against the alien horde. Will support cooperative multiplay as well.
  • Out Of Hell - Another in-progress work. This one is for UT2003. It's a single-player story-based game, and it's set in the classic "town-overrun-by-undead" melieu. Interestingly, emphasis is placed on suspense and melee combat instead of the traditional shotgun-fest this type of game frequently tends to be.
